Foxbridge Season Classic Courses

The Foxbridge Season Classic takes place over 3 Swings.

Each player must nominate a tournament from each of the Swings to represent their first, second and third round.
Players must declare the round that they wish to count before they play it.

After the round, the points that the player scored will be adjusted by a percentage factor according to the SSS of the course.

The fourth and final round takes place at Foxbridge Golf Course in Billinghurst, West Sussex. For the final round only, players will be playing off 3/4 handicaps.

Foxbridge Golf Club have kindly agreed that the winner of The Foxbridge Season Classic will not only receive a trophy, but will also receive a Foxbridge Golf Club Polo Shirt.
The prize will hopefully become as coveted as the infamous Green Jacket from The Masters held at Augusta National.

Adjusted Points Table
Foxbridge Season Classic Courses

Check the SSS of your chosen course. This will determine how little or how much the points you score in that tournament will be deducted.

If you choose a course with a SSS of 66, the points you score in that tournament will be adjusted by a factor of 88%. A course with a SSS of 71 will see your points adjusted by a factor of 98%.

For instance, if you shoot 36 points around Epsom, your points will be adjusted by a factor of 88% giving you a first round score of 32 points.

If you choose Bletchingley as your first round course and shoot 36 points, your points will be adjusted by a factor of 96% giving you a first round score of 35 points.

The dilemma is choosing a course that you feel you would score the most points at, that when adjusted will give you the best adjusted points total.

You may feel you can shoot 36 points around Epsom giving you an adjusted points total of 32 points. But you may think that you are more likely to shoot 35 points at Slinfold Park, which would give you an adjusted points total of 33 points.

The pressure will mount as once the player has declared the course, they must score the most points they can on the day to rise to the top of the leaderboard.

From The Autumn Swing the player will choose their 2nd round tournament, again factoring in which course you feel you will score best at.

From The Winter Swing the player will choose their 3rd round of the tournament.

But anything can happen on the final round, and a player somewhat down the leaderboard, can have a good day, whereas the leaders may fall away.
